Movi Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Movi, a movie ranking, recommendation, and social discovery app. By using Movi, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Accounts

• You are responsible for the activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You may delete your account in the app from Account Settings or contact support for help.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other users.

User Content

Movi lets users create rankings, reviews, comments, likes, follows, profile information, and other social activity. You are responsible for the content you submit.

• Do not post unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, or misleading content.
• Do not post content that infringes another person's rights.
• Do not spam, impersonate others, or interfere with other users' enjoyment of Movi.
• We may remove content or restrict accounts when needed to operate and protect Movi.

Social Features and Moderation

Some profile, ranking, review, comment, like, and follow activity may be visible to other Movi users. Movi includes tools to block users and report problems. Reports may be reviewed to help enforce these terms and protect the community.

Movie Data and Third-Party Services

Movi uses The Movie Database (TMDB) to search for movies and retrieve movie information. Movi is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Movie titles, posters, trailers, cast information, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without permission.
• Do not scrape, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not use Movi for illegal activity or to violate anyone's rights.
• Do not upload malicious code or use the service in a way that could harm Movi or other users.

Recommendations and Availability

Movi recommendations are provided for entertainment and discovery. They may not always be accurate, available, or complete. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information Movi collects and how it is used.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Movi is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movi disclaims warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page. Continued use of Movi after changes means you accept the updated terms.
