Movi helps users rank movies, write reviews, receive recommendations, and follow friends. This policy explains what information Movi collects and how it is used.

Movie ranking information, including movies you add, ratings, comparisons, and reviews.
Social content, such as follows, likes, comments, blocks, reports, and notifications.
Search activity, such as movie searches and user searches made in the app.

How We Use Information

To provide account access and keep your movie rankings available.
To send account-related emails, such as welcome messages and password reset links.
To show your rankings, reviews, comments, likes, and social activity in the app.
To generate movie recommendations based on your ranked movies.
To search for movies and users.
To respond to support requests, reports, or account deletion requests.

Third-Party Services

Movi uses The Movie Database (TMDB) to search for movies and retrieve movie information. Movi also uses an email delivery provider to send account-related emails, such as welcome messages and password reset links. Movi is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Data Sharing

Movi does not sell your personal information. Some profile, ranking, review, comment, like, and follow information may be visible to other Movi users as part of the app's social features.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Account Settings. You can also contact support for help with account deletion.
